Impact Energy Asia Development Limited ("IEAD")

  • Incorporated in 2019 and initially a joint venture between BCPG Public Company Limited (Bangchak Group’s listed renewable energy subsidiary) and IES Group
  • In June 2021, Mitsubishi Corporation (through a Netherlands incorporated wholly owned subsidiary and managed by its Hong Kong subsidiary, Diamond Generating Asia Ltd.) announced that it had reached an agreement with the IES Group to invest in IEAD. IEAD is now 55% owned by a joint venture between IES (31%) and Mitsubishi (24%), and 45% owned by an affiliate of BCPG PCL

Impact Electrons Siam Group ("IES Group")

  • Established in 2011 in Thailand, IES has a strong focus on greenfield RE projects. It has developed over 1,000 MW of RE projects across the Asia-Pacific region and has a current growth pipeline of over 700MW
  • IES Group is 76%-owned by Ms. Paradai Suebma. The equity contribution of IES in the Project is estimated at $24.8 million for its 26.7% ownership of the Project Company

BCPG Public Company Limited ("BCPG")

  • A reputable Thai renewable energy company with international experience in project development, construction, and operations. BCPG was established in 2015, is listed on the stock exchange of Thailand, and has investments in renewable projects in southeast Asia and Japan with total installed capacity of 942 MW, 56% of which are in operation.
  • In 2020, the company generated revenues of THB4.2 billion (US$141 million) and profits of THB1.9 billion (US$64 million) from its asset base of THB51.2 billion (US$1.7 billion)

Mitsubishi Cooperation ("Mitsubishi")

  • Japan’s largest trading company by assets (US$168.9 billion as of March 2021), it maintains a highly diversified portfolio, spanning across 90 countries and multiple business segments (e.g., energy and mineral resources, industrial materials, automotive, and food and consumer industry, among others)

  • The company is rated A/Stable and A2/Negative by S&P and Moody’s, respectively

SMP Consultation Sole Co., Ltd. ("SMP")

  • Headquartered in Vientiane and considered one of the leading consulting service providers in the country, including for large scale power plants in Lao PDR. SMP also has experience in other sectors including finance, automotive, education, and information technology and communication, amongst others
