Warmly Welcoming H.E. Thongloun Sisoulith, President of the Lao PDR, along with the delegation on the occasion of the visit to the Monsoon Wind Power Project on 14 January 2025.

Lao PDR's President H.E. Thongloun Sisoulith, Secretary General of the Central Party Committee, visited the Monsoon Wind Power project, where he was welcomed by Mr. Nat Hutanuwatr, CEO of the Monsoon project, and Mr. Peck Khamkanist, IES CEO. They presented a progress report on the nearly completed project and outlined expansion plans to sustainably develop Laos’ clean energy potential. President Thongloun expressed his support for the expansion projects, commending the initiative as Laos’ first wind power project and the largest in Southeast Asia. He praised its excellence in environmental stewardship and community development, highlighting its role in improving local livelihoods in the project area.
